INSIDE World Festival of Interiors is the World Architecture Festival’s sister festival which also takes place at the Arena Berlin in November 2017. It announces the list of candidates, including 9 types of projects from around the world, together with the WAF, in recognition of the original exciting interior projects, to celebrate the most primitive and most exciting interior design.
AD 100 is established in 2013, launched by “Andi AD”. It updates the list every two years to bring together the most elite architects and interior designers in China. This year, after five months process of network solicitation, projects selection, list of projects announcement and public vote, we finally embraced the grand ceremony on 23rd of June.
WJ STUDIO is also on the AD 100 list this year due to the excellent design work of MISA Studio. Hu Zhile, the founder and design director of WJ STUDIO was invited to attend the awards ceremony & AD's 6th Anniversary as one of the elite designers. He was pleased to witness this grand ceremony along with all the famous designers, fashion stars, corporate executives, press and other guests.
The project of MISA Studio located in a hollow old factory. Between the two plants is a shipping channel, the top left the original lightweight steel roof. Client MISA is the founder of Rokid Artificial Intelligence. His demand is very easy. A wood workshop with temporary residence,which can support a big dog, and park his Ural (a motorcycle).There are very bright atrium and another internal courtyard occupied the entire one-third area. It provides a contact with nature. Indoor space outdoor, natural through the Light Court was introduced into the interior, the new form of life has also assumed a serious side. "In this case, the design that contact with the natural life is more important than convenience."

It is a detailed share of the trend of real estate from different perspectives of designer, estate agent, and supplier.
As one of the lecture speakers, the founder and design director from Wanjing Design, Leo Hu thinks that from the development of residential sample room, we found that the requirement of residential design is about basic demand, style, and culture and eventually back to life itself. Regarding the inner decoration, previously it was 70% hard decoration and 30% soft decoration, but now those figures have reversed. The way to express the value of a residence through New Chinese, Modern, and North European styles are no longer able to meet the modern needs of a home decoration. Focus on life itself is the ultimate pursuit of modern design. Modern residential sample room should focus more on the expression of life itself, rather than a decoration form. In order to get a higher sense of the residential value and to turn to a cultural thinking and living condition, we shall consider the architectural design, landscape design, interior design and soft design as a whole design process, to make both the in and outsides of a property consistent with one another.

The project is a high-level personal studio of an artificial intelligence company, located in a hollow old factory building. Its design is to be in the moment work and living in a single unified environment will be the city's abandoned space into a multi-dimensional interesting living space.
